MTL announces Bella Ramsey's first figure (Madame Tussauds)
While Bella Ramsey is busy facing all sorts of scary people on screen in The Last of Us, in real life they’ve come face-to-face with an entirely different type of figure: a waxwork version of themself!
The star has been working with Madame Tussauds London to get the figure, set to be unveiled later this year, just right. They will become the second non-binary person to be so honoured.
The news was announced today on Wednesday (23 April) and Ramsey will stand next to the likes of the Harry Styles, Zendaya and Lil Nas X in the Awards Party zone. Also joining the star-studded assembly will be Lady Gaga.
“It’s an honour to work with Madame Tussauds London’s world-class artists on my figure,” Ramsey said. “I am in awe at the level of detail that the artists put into their work, and it has been such a fun experience to be included in their creative process. I can’t wait to see the finished look and to share it with fans.”

The general manager at the world-famous London attraction described Ramsey as “a film, TV and style icon”, and a “delight” to work with.
“They shine as brightly on screen as they do in person, never compromising who they are or what they stand for,” added Steve Blackburn.
He also shed some light on the choice of clothes for the waxwork figure. “We hope fans love the outfit choice too, the standout undercover look from the recent The Last of Us LA premiere, chosen by Bella and kindly donated by the Japanese streetwear label.”
The Nottingham-born actor had already appeared in Game of Thrones, Will Ferrell’s Holmes & Watson, His Dark Materials, and opposite Jesse Eisenberg in WWII thriller Resistance, before truly hitting the big time in The Last of Us two years ago.
Since then, the star has gone from strength to strength, becoming the first non-binary actor to be nominated for an Emmy for the outstanding lead actress in a drama series, for their work on the post-apocalyptic drama.
The first non-binary star to get their Madame Tussauds double was drummer G-Flip, whose waxwork likeness appeared in Sydney, Australia.
Warning: Spoilers for The Last of Us ahead.

The Last of Us recently returned for a second season, with Ramsey’s Ellie getting a new romantic partner, Dina, played by Isabela Merced.
In the most-recent episode, the dramatic moment in The Last of Us Part II, the game on which season two of the series is based, unfolded as Joel (Pedro Pascal) met a grisly end.
The Last of Us airs on HBO on Sunday at 9pm Eastern in the US and on Mondays from 9pm on Sky Atlantic in the UK, and on Now. It is also available to stream on Max.
