The first trailer for the second season of Wednesday dropped, appropriately, on Wednesday (23 April) and gave us lots of reasons to be excited. However, the sight of Hunter Doohan in particular has got us, and the internet at large, thirsty.
Towards the end of the trailer for the spooky series about the odd Addams family, viewers got a glimpse of Doohan, first as “normie” Tyler, then in his more-monstrous form, Hyde.
Netflix also released some first-look images. One of these shows Doohan shirtless and collared and has attracted particular attention.
“Hunter Doohan, the man you are,” wrote one fan on X/Twitter. Over on YouTube, someone else wrote: “I think he was working out for the part in Daredevil: Born Again,” a reference to the star’s role of Muse in the Disney+ series.

Another person wrote on Instagram: “Will you ever find your shirt? The real plot of season two,” while others declared: “The most handsome Hyde,” and, “He’s back and steamier than ever.”
Fans also got to see a brief clip of Wednesday visiting Tyler in the asylum where he’s being held since the events of season one.
Jenna Ortega, who plays Wednesday, has previously teased that the new season will lean “into the horror aspect of the show a little bit more”, which might disappoint those hoping her character and Tyler would get together.
Season two will be shown in two parts. The first will start on 6 August with the second following on 3 September.
Season one of Wednesday is streaming on Netflix now.
