The cast of All Stars 10 (WOW)

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 10 hasn’t even begun yet, but it’s already one for herstory books, baby.

In addition to All Stars 10 having the largest cast of contestants in Drag Race herstory (18 queens!) and debuting a brand new format – the “Tournament of All Stars” – a number of the season’s queens are also setting and smashing records.

All Stars 10 will see the 18 queens broken into three groups of six – Team Purple, Team Orange, and Team Pink – with each team competing separately in three sets of three episodes.

The top three queens of each group will then move on to the semi-finals, with rumours suggesting the semi-finals will feature two challenges: a Snatch Game and a talent show. From there, the final will feature a Lipsync Smackdown for the Crown, with the winner taking home $200,000 and a place in the Drag Race Hall of Fame.

Before the competition begins on 9 May though, let’s get into some of the records this eclectic group of queens are making and breaking.

Ginger Minj

Self-described glamour toad and seasoned comedy queen Ginger Minj is the very first Drag Race contestant to compete in four separate seasons of the US franchise.

The actor and singer first appeared on RuPaul’s Drag Race season seven ten years ago, in 2015, where she placed as a runner-up, before appearing on All Stars 2 the following year and placing eighth. She returned for a third time in 2021 for All Stars 6, once again placing as a runner-up.

Now, she’s back hoping that she can score on try number four.

Drag Race stars Jujubee, Alexis Mateo, and Eureka! have also Ruturned to the competition four times, but each of them took on their fourth attempt over the border or across the pond, with Alexis and Eureka appearing on Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs the World, and Jujubee competing on Drag Race UK: UK vs the World.

Jorgeous

Jorgeous is the first Drag Race queen to compete on two consecutive seasons of All Stars, having competed just last year on All Stars 9 (which was won by her season 14 sister, Angeria Paris VanMichaels). It’s been less than 12 months since that season wrapped up, and now she’s back.

Plus, Jorgeous has made an appearance on a season of Drag Race every year for the past four years. She was a competitor on season 14 in 2022, a lip-sync assassin on All Stars 8 in 2023, and an All Stars contestant in 2024 and 2025. Someone get this diva some annual leave.

Lydia B. Kollins

Lydia B. Kollins breaks the record for the shortest amount of time between appearing on her original season and an All Stars season. The kooky drag superstar appeared on Drag Race season 17, which wrapped up a week ago (18 April). Her comeback was announced just five days later.

The record was previously held by Monet X Change and Mo Heart, who appeared on the season 10 finale of Drag Race in June 2018, before their All Stars Ruturn was announced that November.

Nicole Paige Brooks

Conversely, Nicole Paige Brooks holds the record for the longest amount of time between appearing on an original season and making an All Stars comeback. She was a short-lived contestant on Drag Race season two, which began airing in February 2010. She came 11th.

Over 15 years later and she’s back, competing for the crown on All Stars 10. The record was previously held by Nicole’s season two sister Jessica Wild, who came back for All Stars 8 in 2023, 13 years after her original season.

Season 14 domination

All Stars 10 sees the largest number of queens originally from the same regular season Ruturning to compete against each other again. Bosco, Deja Skye, Jorgeous, Daya Betty, Kerri Colby and Alyssa Hunter are all originally from season 14.

The record was previously held by All Stars 2, which was dubbed by fans (and the competing queens) as season five: the re-do, with half of the cast (five queens) being from season five.

Double the drag family

For the first time, an All Stars season has more than one set of family members competing against each other. Season 14 finalist Bosco and season 15’s Porkchop queen Irene the Alien (previously known as Irene DuBois) are drag sisters, while season two’s Nicole Paige Brooks is the drag mother of season three queen Phoenix.

Other seasons have had drag family members competing against each other – i.e. mother and daughter Tamisha Iman and Lala Ri on season 13, and sisters Darienne Lake and Mrs Kasha Davis on All Stars 8 – but All Stars 10 is the first in the franchise two have sets of interfamilial battles for the crown.

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 10 will be available to stream on Paramount+ in the US and WOW Presents Plus internationally from 9 May.
