Check on your local lesbians because Reneé Rapp is teasing new music with the help of some very thirsty posts (and we are not ok).
Nearly two years after her debut album Snow Angel dropped, the Mean Girls actress has revealed new music in the form of a track entitled “Leave Me Alone”, which will be in the hands of eager sapphics in just over a week.
On Tuesday (13 May), Rapp posted two titillating clips to her Instagram and TikTok accounts.
In the one clip, Rapp is facing way from the camera, her blonde hair falling down her back whilst plenty skin is on show as she forgoes a shirt and bra, whilst flexing her biceps.

She shakes her head as a snippet from her new song plays in the background, highlighting a backwards baseball cap she is wearing that reads: “Bite Me” – the name of her upcoming album.
In the other video, Rapp teases what could possibly be the music video for the song. The clip begins with shots of different women in their bras, lying on a bed, before the camera snaps to Rapp who is surrounded by the women.
Directly to the camera, she sensually sings: “I’m a real bad girl but a real good kisser.”
Unsurprisingly, the sapphics of the internet immediately lost their minds.
“Heaven have MERCY,” the official account for the Lesbian Supper Club podcast commented.
“RENEÉ RAPP SUMMER HERE WE COMEEEE,” a different user said.
Others asked why the 14-second long clip is “29 minutes long” and said “this video is like an hour long what the f**k”.
“Just in time for pride month thank you for saving the world,” another user wrote.
“God i love being a lesbian,” a third said whilst a fourth joked: “Body is so tea i just got trampled by the british on their way to you😭”
“Hey so i just died and came back,” another wrote, whilst others praised that it is a “good day to be a lesbian”.
Back in July 2024, Rapp spoke about her second album saying it is a “reflection on my 23rd year specifically”.
“It was so bad, and I thought 22 was insane for me,” she told Billboard.

“I think one of the last songs I wrote, I had such a terrible day. I just had such a bad day and just like bad experiences, and I was like I have nowhere else to go with my thoughts because obviously I can’t put them outward in this moment, therefore I will be like mentally just writing,” she said of the creative process for the new album.
“It was really about finding an outlet. I remember just feeling so overwhelmed and thinking I needed to do something with all this negative energy. So, I sat down in a corner, closed my eyes for about 10 minutes, and just let the thoughts flow.”
She added: “Every artist has their own way of dealing with their emotions, and for me, writing has always been therapeutic. Whether I’m having a good day or a bad day, writing helps me make sense of my experiences.”
“It’s like every song is a snapshot of what I was going through at that particular time.”
