The 2025 European Women’s Championship are nearly over in Switzerland, and many people are planning to have a flutter. To help you decide who to back, here are the current Women’s Euros betting odds.
Many England fans will be hoping the Lionesses will be able to hold onto the title; they won the Euros in 2022.
On 31 July of that year, the England women’s football team beat Germany 2-1 to win their first major football trophy, England’s first piece of silverware since the men’s team won the 1966 World Cup. The England team includes a number of out and proud LGBTQ+ players, meaning the queer community also had a lot to celebrate.
The LGBTQ+ stars in the 2025 Euros squad include Lucy Bronze, Jess Carter, Lauren Hemp, Beth Mead, Keira Walsh and Leah Williamson. Manager Sarina Wiegman previously told PinkNews that she was “excited to see what we are capable of this summer”.

However, despite making it to the Semi-Finals (yay!) a Lionesses victory is by no means certain. Here’s a rundown of the odds for the two semi-finals and who is the favourite to win the tournament.
Semi-Final 1 – England vs Italy
The first of the two semi-finals takes place today (Tuesday 22 July) and will see England’s Lionesses face off against Italy.
As per Betfair, England are the bookies’ favoruites to make it through to the final, with odds of 8/13 chance of winning the match while Italy have odds of 9/2. The prospect of a draw is thought to be 3/1.
Kick off is at 8pm BST on ITVX.
Semi-Final 2 – Spain vs Germany
The second semi-final will be fought between Spain and Germany. The German side is considered to stand a 5/1 chance of claiming victory. Meanwhile, Spain are on 4/9 with a draw at 7/2.
That match will take place on Wednesday 23 July with kick off at 8pm BST. Viewers can tune in on BBC One and BBC Sport.
Who is the favourite to win the Women’s Euro 2025?
Ahead of the Final on Sunday 27 July Betfair currently have one team listed as favourites to win the tournament: Spain.
Their team currently hold both the Nations League and World Cup, so it goes without saying the squad are on top form at the moment, which is reflected in their betting odds. At the time of writing, the Spaniards are the favourites (1/2 on Betfair) to triumph in Switzerland.
However, England are close behind Spain; second favourites, to be precise, with odds of 11/4 to go all the way. They only narrowly lost out to Spain in the World Cup in a tense final battle last year, so all eyes will once again be on the Lionesses.
Germany are next with odds of (7/1), and the last semi-finalist is Italy with odds of (18/1) having started the tournament with betting odds of 30/1.
Kick off is expected at 5pm BST with people able to watch via BBC One, BBC Sport, and ITV.
