JADE is a ‘femme, top, dom’ on remix of Kesha’s gay pop bop BOY CRAZY

Hold onto your poppers, because the Mother™ convention is in town – by which we of course mean that pop icon Kesha has released a remix of banger “BOY CRAZY” featuring none other than JADE.

Released 16 May as part of the rollout for new album Period (stylised as a literal “.”), “BOY CRAZY” and its accompanying music video from Kesha instantly ascended to the queer pop hall of fame.

Thanks in part to its thumping bass, really horny lyrics and visuals including a lot of men in not a lot of clothes, the banger is a standout from the album – and is now about to stand even taller with the addition of JADE to a remix of the track.

Kesha’s deluxe version of Period (subtitled as “…”) was released today (8 July), and features new tracks “TRASHMAN.”, several remixes of “YIPPEE-KI-YAY” – and, crucially, “BOY CRAZY. feat. JADE”.

Former Little Mix star turned solo pop baddie JADE – best known for tracks “Angel of My Dreams,” “Plastic Box,” and more – takes the second verse of the remix, and spits some utter filth. And we’re living.

“Brisbane to London, boys are my Jägerbomb, Let me be your femme, top, giddy up, now I’m your dom,” JADE tells listeners.

“Countryside in the bond, city boys, big job, It’s not about the size, it’s how you use it that can turn me on,” she continues. “So when you gonna turn me on? Motherf**ker, are you dumb?”

Basically, the “BOY CRAZY” remix with JADE is everything we ever wanted, and more.

The pair first teased a collaboration when they both appeared as headliners at Mighty Hoopla festival in South London.

After Kesha took to the stage with a trans choir for her headline slot, and JADE put JK Rowling on her ‘F**k you’ list, JADE replied to a comment from Kesha on Instagram, hinting at a collabs.

“U boy crazy too? We should go out…” Kesha wrote underneath a snap of JADE at the “TikTok” star’s set.

She replied: “Let’s party!”

JADE then appeared in a separate TikTok where she was asked to blink to confirm any potential collaborations, doing so when Kesha’s name was read out.

JADE’s debut album, THAT’S SHOWBIZ BABY!, was recently officially announced along with an already sold-out solo tour.

“This album has been years in the making, so I’m beyond excited that I can finally let everyone know when it’s coming out. I’m very proud of THAT’S SHOWBIZ BABY! as a body of work and can’t wait to share it with the world,” she said of her debut solo offering, which will be released 12 September.
