All Stars 10’s Bosco suspended on X after impersonating Drag Race account: ‘Given RuPaul a gun’

All Stars 10 icon Bosco has been suspended after impersonating the official RuPaul's Drag Race X account (World of Wonder)

All Stars 10 finalist Bosco has had her X account suspended after impersonating the official RuPaul’s Drag Race account – and posting that the show had ‘given RuPaul a gun’ for the finale, among other things.

Though RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 10 has just one episode left until yet another queen joins the hallowed Hall of Fame, the remaining seven queens are doing just about anything to snatch that crown.

And apparently, if you’re season 14 finalist Bosco, that includes impersonating the official RuPaul’s Drag Race X (formerly Twitter) account and firing off some truly unhinged posts, including but not limited to: reminding Denali that she was eliminated (she probably knows), encouraging fans to tweet their support for #TeamBosco (and only Team Bosco), and stating that to shake things up, All Stars 10 has “given RuPaul” a gun (no, it hasn’t).

But it appears that Bosco may have slayed too close to the sun, because her X account has now been suspended – though the cause and effect has not been officially confirmed.

It all started when Bosco (by the handle of @hereisbosco) changed her profile picture to the current All Stars logo, her username to “Rupaul’s Drag Race” and her profile bio to “Definitely not Bosco”.

She then posted her official promo picture for the season, and the fairly innocuous caption: “We want to know… Are you #TeamBosco… Let us know in the comments below.”

Sounds harmless, right? Wrong. Because when fans started replying to the post, God’s favourite transexual went truly off the rails.

“Honestly it depends,” one wrote, to which Bosco (as Drag Race) replied: “That’s f**king stupid! Comment #TeamBosco in the comments below.”

“You’re so funny please don’t go bald,” another joked, to which not-Drag Race answered: “Comment #TeamBosco in the comments to support her hairline.”

She also said: “No grow up” to a fan who couldn’t decide whose team they were on, and told another to “pick a lane you coward.”

It’s called marketing.

But it wasn’t just fans of the show who were in the firing line; Denali, who was eliminated before the semi-finals after competing in the Purple Bracket, replied: “lollllll” to the post.

Bosco then replied: “You were eliminated! But your voice still matters.”

Things did not stop there, though, because Bosco then posted a picture of Mama Ru, and the caption: “This season anything is possible! For the first time in #DragRace herstory, we have given RuPaul a gun.”

To clarify, no they have not – but Bosco did add the hashtag “#whyitgottabestrapped.”

Though the exact timing is unclear, it seems that the account was taken down shortly after.

According to a post from Grok – X’s built-in AI feature – in reply to season 16 star Morphine Love Dion, “Bosco’s X account … was suspended for violating platform rules on impersonation. She changed her display name to “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and posted as the official account to troll Denali and endorse herself. Suspensions can be appealed, but permanence depends on X’s review.”

Despite being in X jail (and a wave of “Free Bosco” posts hitting the site), Bosco is still in the running for the crown of All Stars 10.

In the finale, she will join Aja, Jorgeous, Lydia B. Kollins, Daya Betty, Ginger Minj, Irene the Alien and a mystery wild-card queen to take part in the final lipsync smackdown for the crown.

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 10 continues on Fridays on Paramount+ in the US and WOW Presents Plus internationally.
