A “gay” robot wearing a cowboy hat and Pride gear has been spotted on the streets of West Hollywood, California.
Clips of the android walking around in Los Angeles have surfaced online, with “Jake the Rizzbot” dressed to the nines in rainbow armbands and a tutu, with two mini Pride Progress flags attached to its arms. Hilariously, the robot also wore a sticker on its torso which read, “Not Elon’s B****”.
One social media user captured the robot asking an onlooker whether it can “take you out for dinner” before playing Steve Gregory’s infamous saxophone riff from George Michael’s “Careless Whisper”.
Jackie meets a small humanoid robot, 'Rizzbot,' from China's Unitree Robotics, allegedly spotted in Los Angeles. At 4 feet and 77 pounds, it uses AI and deep learning to interact with people.

Another clip shows the droid running across Santa Monica Boulevard among pedestrians, while a third sees “Jake” dropping some serious game (as well as insults) based on the appearance of those it interacts with.
It has been reported that the “Rizzbot” is a “G1 Humanoid Agent”, which was developed by the Chinese technology company Unitree Robotics. The robot, which is reportedly worth $16,000, was previously walking around in Austin, Texas, where it interacted with locals.
As per the company, the 4-ft robot uses AI in order to talk to people. However, it does not operate on its own and instead is manually controlled by someone nearby via a controller.
The brand describes the robot as having “force control of dexterous hands, manipulation of all things, imitation and reinforcement learning driven”. It has a battery life of around two hours.
Unsurprisingly, Far-right pundits believed the robot to be part of a woke agenda, with some even claiming that it is “an attack on American soil” due to the robot being manufactured in China.
“Great, what’s next? A trans robot?” one right-wing social media user commented. Another suggested that the robot exploits children, writing, “My concern is that it’s child-sized. It’s giving them everything they want. Gross.”
Great- what's next a 'trans -robot' ?

It is not clear who dressed up the droid or why they controlled it to tour Los Angeles and Austin.
