We’ve got a harrowing update in the JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes romance saga: Siwa has given names to Hughes’s testicles. Yes, really.
JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes’s relationship has been developing at breakneck speed since the pair met during Celebrity Big Brother UK back in April.
First came friendship. Then, last month, came an official announcement about their relationship no longer being platonic. Most recently, last week, the former Love Island star shared his hope that he would one day marry the “Karma” singer.
It’s all happening so fast, and we’re hearing about every little detail in real time. Every. Little. Detail.

In his most recent interview, Hughes, 32, spoke a little about the pet names Siwa has – not for him, as a whole human, but rather for his testicles.
During a chat with E! News, Hughes spoke a little about baby names, and the fact that Siwa once revealed that she would like to call her children Freddie, Eddy and Teddy.
“She calls my balls Jimmy and Timmy, so she must love the rhyming lingo within her life,” Hughes laughed.
The TV presenter went on to suggest that he’s not quite sold on using a rhyming pattern for the names of his children.
“I don’t know about those names. I have names that I like. I’m still kind of undecided on them,” he said.
“We’ll work it out for sure… It might end up being something we have to pick names out of a hat for.”
It’s been a wild few months in JoJo Siwa’s world, after she split from her former partner Kath Ebbs just days after coming out of the Big Brother house, and instantly got cozy with Hughes.
She also spoke out about feeling “pressure” to identify as a lesbian earlier on in her career – a label which she rejected while in the Big Brother house, explaining that she now identifies as queer.
Siwa distancing herself from the “lesbian” label led to some uproar in the LGBTQ+ community, with some feeling as though she was distancing herself from the community as a whole.
Yet in a fairly poignant statement, Hughes denounced the idea, and urged that Siwa is and will always be part of the queer community.
“I’m very respectful of everything she’s been through. That’s her own personal journey,” he told The Sun.
“But it upsets me that she is being thrown hate online. I do feel a sense of responsibility that being with me has led to her getting hate. I don’t understand how anyone could be mean to someone as caring as her.
“Joelle [Siwa’s real name] has been with girls all her life. She is bisexual. She’s not now straight just because she’s with me,” Hughes added.
“Sexuality can be fluid, and you should be able to love who you want without judgement. She is still part of the LGBTQ+ community, she always will be. And while there’s been negativity, there has been so much love.”
