Lux Pascal gushed about her “incredible” brother, Pedro Pascal and his support of the trans community in a heartwarming interview during the Fantastic Four: First Steps LA premiere.

The acclaimed actor’s trans sister, 32, sung the praises of her brother’s allyship during the red carpet walk on Monday (21 July), telling press that it “comes from his own heart.”

“It’s people with positions of power that should be defending people that are marginalised and [Pedro Pascal] knows that and he’s incredible.”

The American-Chilean siblings have routinely shown love for each other, with Lux having previously said her brother was a rock in the early days of her transition.

Asked by an Entertainment Tonight journalist during the red carpet premiere what Pedro’s support means to her, she said her brother was aware that “people like him are exactly the ones that need to be voicing support.”

“Like it’s not even about me or about someone specific,” she continued. “He does it from his own heart.”

Pedro Pascal then called his sister a “star”, adding that the pair “go hard for each other.”

Earlier in April, Lux, who came out in 2021, opened up about Pedro’s support during her transition, saying he is “as kind as we think he is.”

“What makes [Pedro Pascal] so fabulous is that he wears all of his humanity on his sleeve, and he doesn’t hide who he is,” she told the Hollywood Reporter. “I think that’s refreshing, because usually we move around the world hiding who we are.

“That’s the main lesson I’ve gotten from him: there’s no reason for me to hide who I am, right? And I think people are seeing that.”

Last week, Gladiator II actor Pedro sent another message of solidarity to the trans community amid growing hostility across the globe, telling the community: “You inspire me.

“You inspire fear in those that are afraid of being their true selves,” the 50-year-old continued. “I think that’s the threat; your joy, and your radical bravey in living your life in joy.”

Fantastic Four: First Steps is released in UK cinemas this Thursday (24 July).
