Trixie Mattel ‘confirmed’ for Chicken Shop Date with Amelia Dimoldenberg

The next guest for Chicken Shop Date with Amelia Dimoldenberg is all but confirmed, and fans are 99.99% sure it’s Trixie Mattel. Frankly, we’d be very surprised if it was someone else.
On Tuesday (22 July), the show’s YouTube channel shared two posts on its stories ahead of the next episode. One displayed a section of the interviewer’s questions, the first of which included ‘Skinny Legend’, a moniker often used by the RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars winner.
Another question touches on the topic of air conditioning, which true Trixie fans will know the queen has discussed repeatedly on her own YouTube show UNHhhh, as well as her podcast, The Bald and The Beautiful, both of which she hosts with Katya Zamolodchikova.
The channel then shared a brief clip of someone in a pink dress with matching heels and nails. Pink is Trixie’s signature colour and, after the previous post, pretty much confirmed her appearance on Chicken Shop Date.

Sharing the snippets on X/Twitter a user said “I am so ready for this.” Another shared their excitement writing, “TRIXIE ON CHICKEN SHOP DATE!!!!!!” Someone else celebrated the news putting, “After 4 years a drag queen is FINALLY back on Chicken Shop date!”
A short scroll back through Chicken Shop Date‘s history does reveal that the last drag performer to appear on the popular YouTube show was Drag Race UK‘s Bimini four years ago.
The upcoming episode is sure to be a hoot what with Dimoldenberg’s awkward interview approach mixed with Trixie’s characteristic brand of humour which is often explicit, direct, and outright hilarious.
Among the queer stars to join Dimoldenberg on the show are Jonathan Bailey, Alex Consani, Billie Eilish, and Keke Palmer.
