Naomi Smalls just let loose on this All Stars 10 lip-sync: ‘It’s pathetic’

Naomi Smalls isn’t playing around with her RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 10 critiques. She’s here to give a brutally honest opinion – and in that, she has most certainly succeeded.
While Monét X Change has been recording The Pit Stop, Naomi has been accompanying Bob the Drag Queen, on their podcast, Sibling Rivalry aka Sibling Watchery for the purposes of watching All Stars 10.
In the episode reviewing the All Stars 10 finale, in which Ginger Minj won the crown, Bob and Naomi obviously had thoughts on everything. This included the final lip-sync to “It’s Raining Men” by The Weather Girls where Ginger and Jorgeous faced off. It has generated a fair amount of discussion online about who was the more deserving winner.
Approaching the lip-sync on the podcast, Bob critiqued Ginger as “watching what [Jorgeous is] doing,” and “doing some sort of a physical commentary on what she’s doing.” Bob then summarised, “I don’t like that.”
Naomi was in total agreement. “No, me either,” the season eight queen said before picking apart Ginger’s performance more. “Shrugging, I’m not gonna cartwheel ’cause she’s cartwheeling. I can’t do a windmill ’cause she dug the windmill.”
It’s at this point Naomi seemed to hesitate over her choice of words. But after Bob mouthed the word “lame” Naomi continued, “It’s lame, but the word I was gonna use is pathetic.”
As Bob screamed in in shock, Naomi added, “Like, own the fucking song.” Now, drag queens aren’t often ones to mince their words, but this did have us gagged, we have to admit.
Ginger’s win has come with its controversy. Many viewers were unhappy with the outcome, accusing the show’s producers of favouritism all season long. Ginger has slammed these criticisms saying the fandom “built the narrative for themselves.”
The All Stars 10 finale is currently the lowest rated All Stars episode on IMDb. This is despite it scoring the highest viewing figures for the Drag Race spinoff for the this year in a row.
