RuPaul’s Drag Race UK favourite Bimini had an iconic response to hate comments they received today (4 August) after appearing on Lorraine to speak about being on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins 2025.

The 32-year-old non-binary star, who goes by the stage name Bimini Bon-Boulash, was on the daytime talk show to speak about their experience on the British-army themed reality series.

Explaining why they signed up, Bimini shared: “I feel like those institutions arrant necessarily built for people like me, [so] taking up space and showing that we can do it as well was what it was about.”

While they shared some fantastic insight, some haters took it as an opportunity to leave cruel comments.

However, Bimini had the perfect response to the trolls: a hate comment TikTok ranking

“All these people have so much time on their hands to go on the internet and think that people give a s**t about their opinion,” Bimini says at the start of the TikTok. “Disclaimer: I don’t give a f**k about all of this. It makes me laugh.”

“You know the British public, they love a bit of homophobia, especially when they’re confused.

‘Try harder next time, babe!’

“Let’s start at the bottom. I think this is the worst comment,” Bimini declared.

The comment reads: “Who’s this pervert?”

“If you really want to talk about the misuse of power within institutions, then you should look into Catholicism and Christianity.”

“Let’s give it a f***king zero out of 10,” Bimini said, ranking the comment. “So unimaginative. Try harder next time, babe!”

The next one reads: “Celebrity? Never heard of him.”

Bimini shot back: “Oh, well that’s a shame, ‘cus I’m fab. But if you do want to know, Google ‘Bimini Vogue’ or any editorial I’ve ever done. Or listen to my music on Spotify, or come to one of my sets.

“Let’s give that a one out of ten,” Bimini ranked the comment.

“Another attention seeker,” is the next comment they read. “I’m going to give this a five out of ten, because they’re not wrong.

“We love it. We’ve got a Leo rising, I’m a Taurus. I can’t help it. I can drop into the splits at any moment. That is a move that, when attention is drawn away from me, I will use.

The final comment, at the top of the ranking, is: “So you couldn’t interview any straight contestants?”

Bimini responded: “No, unfortunately, all of the straight contestants were busy. You know, the gays, we just have nothing else to do, and we’re attention seekers, so obviously if we get a call to go on Lorraine at nine in the morning, we’re going to be there.

‘I wish you nothing but positivity and love’

“Get used to it, b***h! Because gays aren’t going nowhere!” Bimini added. “I’m going to give that a three out of ten.”

In a final message to the haters, Bimini said: “I wish you nothing but positivity and love.

“I hope one day you might not be sad enough to go onto the internet and think that leaving hate comments… actually, if it made you feel better, I’m fine with it.”

Bimini is one of the 14 stars on Celebrity SAS, they were joined by other queer celebs singer-songwriter Lucy Spraggan, pansexual rapper Lady Leshurr, and, for a short while, former Pineapple Dance Studios star Louie Spence.

The bootcamp reality show sees contestants take part in gruelling training challenges that mimic those used on the actual UK Special Forces selection course.

The episode saw the stars plunged into deep water and forced to swim towards a speedboat that would pick them up and take them to the next task. It was at this point that one of the celebs, S Club singer Hannah Spearritt, pulled the plug on her time on the show.

The show continued with task number two, where they had to rescue three hostages from a building before blowing it up.

The challenges also appeared too much for Spence, who failed to reach the boat, and then blew his building up with two hostages still inside.

The first episode of Celebrity SAS 2025 also saw Bimini take some time out to talk about their experience of growing up as a queer person in Norfolk.

Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins continues on Monday 4 August at 9pm on Channel 4.
