European champions England have announced a “homecoming series” of football matches.
Ahead of the 2027 World Cup, the Lionesses will play Brazil, Australia, China and Ghana, with all four games set to be shown live on ITV.
The back-to-back Euros winners begin their World Cup qualification in February but ahead of that they will welcome Brazil to Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium on Saturday, 25 October.
England last met Brazil in the inaugural Women’s Finalissima at Wembley in 2023, winning a penalty shoot-out after a 1-1 draw.
Three days later, on Tuesday, 28 October, they face 2023 World Cup semi-finalists Australia at Pride Park, the home of Derby County.
‘A lovely way to say thank you for the incredible support’
And Wembley is the venue for the previously announced fixture against China, on Saturday, 29 November. More than 60,000 tickets have already been sold for the clash at the national stadium.
The final game of the series is a first meeting with Ghana, to be played at St Mary’s, Southampton, on Tuesday, 2 December.
Talking about the upcoming games, England manager Sarina Wiegman said: “It’s great that we can return to action after our incredible summer, with four exciting fixtures at home. It’s very nice to begin against Brazil and it is also special for us to be able to play again for our fans in Manchester for the first time since Euro 2022.
“We love taking the team around the country, so to also play Australia in Derby, and Ghana in Southampton, as well as the China fixture at Wembley, gives us a lovely way to say thank you for the incredible support we have had this year and before.”
