Porn star Austin Wolf sentenced to 19 years in prison on child sex charges

Former adult-film actor Austin Wolf has been jailed after admitting enticing a minor to engage in sexual activity.

Following an FBI sting operation, Wolf was arrested last year on child pornography charges, including possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material online, and in June 2025, pleaded guilty in front of a judge in New York.

On Friday (26 September), district judge Paul A Engelmayer sentenced him to 19 years in prison for enticing a minor to engage in illegal sexual activity and for engaging in a pattern of activity involving prohibited sexual conduct. He was also sentenced to 10 years of supervised release and fined $40,000 (close to £30,000).

In a press release from the United States Attorney’s Office of the Southern District of New York, lawyer Jay Clayton said: “Justin Heath Smith’s crimes against children are horrible. He targeted kids as young as seven, and every New Yorker wants him and those like him off our streets for as long as possible and never again near our children. 

“The message to predators from our office is clear: there is no place for you in New York other than prison.”

According to a 15-page memorandum dated 22 September, Smith, who had performed in the adult industry as Austin Wolf since 2012, conspired with other men to exploit youngsters, solicited sexually explicit content from teenagers and tried to meet children as young as nine.

As part of a plea agreement, Smith agreed not to contest additional conduct involving his enticement or attempted enticement of minors, production of child pornography, and receipt and distribution of child pornography.

Smith had asked a teenager to send him pictures of his 10-year-old sister, and, on a separate occasion referred to a 15-year-old child using racial slurs while engaging in “race-play’.

He also planned to meet with a man who had a seven-year-old child, “who offered to make the child available to Smith for sexual abuse,” People reported. Federal authorities arrested him before that encounter happened, and during a search of his home, investigators found 1,291 unique files containing child pornography, many of which showed children “a few weeks old”.

He was also involved in distributing child pornography with “at least 15 people”.

Smith’s lawyers urged the judge to impose a sentence of no more than 10 years, the statutory minimum, citing their client’s lack of prior convictions, his sobriety and his reported efforts at rehabilitation at a facility in Brooklyn.
