Social media influencer HSTikkyTokky has threatened to sue anyone posting AI clips that depict him as gay.

Harrison “HSTikkyTokky” Sullivan took to social media to threaten legal action against anyone creating the deepfake videos.

Deepfakes are videos, picture or audio clips that have been made using artificial intelligence to look real, often for nefarious purposes.

“I just want to let you know, I’m not happy with them, especially the ones that make me out to be zesty, the ones that make me out to be doing makeup,” Sullivan wrote. “I’ve seen people trying to get clout and clips off of my name. It is actually defamation at this point.

“I will take legal action in the UK against you”.

Sullivan shared a clip on X/Twitter, which showed him wearing a dress and a crown, which he captioned: “Every single person posting zesty videos like this is in the process of being sued.”

It’s generally not considered defamatory to call someone gay in the UK because it’s no longer likely to be seen as causing “serious” harm to their reputation.

Earlier this month, boxer and influencer Jake Paul also responded to a series of viral AI deepfake videos that falsely showed him coming out as gay. One even had him with Sullivan, appearing to come out together.

Taking to TikTok to respond, the boxer said: “It’s honestly not even a joke.” Then he continued in a camp tone when a friend asked if he wanted a Celsius drink.

In another post, he shared his fiancée voicing concerns about the video.s “I don’t like it, it’s not funny,” Dutch speed-skater Jutta Leerdam is heard saying.

Last month, Sullivan told Louis Theroux that, for him, disowning a gay son was “not homophobic”.
