The Celebrity Traitors star and queer musician Cat Burns has postponed her upcoming tour due to an “intense” period leading up to the release of her new album, How To Be Human.
The British musician and “GIRLS!” singer, 25, was due to begin a tour of her second album in November, appearing at venues in Glasgow, Manchester, Brighton, Wolverhampton, Newcastle, Bournemouth, Bristol and London.
In a statement shared on her Instagram Stories, Cat Burns said that the dates would be postponed to April 2026.
“Hi! This album and tour mean the world to me. It’s been a massive journey getting ready to share How To Be Human with you, I can’t believe it’s nearly here,” she wrote.
“But unfortunately the build-up has been a lot more intense than any of us expected so, myself and my team have made the difficult decision to move the How to Be Human Tour to April 2026.”
The musician, who found fame following the release of her 2020 single “Go” – which reached number two on the UK’s official chart – explained that she wanted to ensure she was “in the right headspace” to embark on a tour.
“Touring is incredibly demanding mentally and physically, and I want to make sure I’m taking care of my wellbeing so I’m in the right headspace to give you the show you deserve. When I step on stage, I really want to feel my best and give you a night that feels worth every moment of waiting,” she wrote.
Burns explained that all tickets would remain valid for the April 2026 dates, but said that her team were unable to reschedule the gig set to take place in Wolverhampton. As an alternative, a new date for Birmingham, 17 miles from Wolverhampton, has been added.

The singer confirmed that a series of small record store shows taking place over the next week to celebrate her album’s release would still be going ahead.
“Thank you for your patience, kindness, and understanding through this! These decisions are never easy and I don’t take your support for granted! I can’t wait to see you soon and make these shows everything they should be,” she added.
Cat Burns is currently one of 19 famous faces appearing on the BBC’s hugely successful reality game show The Celebrity Traitors. The premiere episode of the series was watched by more than 11.7 million viewers, making it the biggest unscripted episode of British television since 2022.
However, each episode has been watched by more than 14 million viewers, breaking its own viewing record.
As one of three Traitors alongside comedian Alan Carr and TV host Jonathan Ross, Cat Burns has been at the centre of the popular show and gained a new legion of fans.
During her appearance on The Celebrity Traitors, she has surpassed one million followers on Instagram and two million followers on TikTok.
How To Be Human is Cat Burns’ second album, following on from the release of her debut record Early Twenties in July 2024.
How To Be Human features the lead single “GIRLS!” which Burns has described as a “fun and flirty love letter to women”.
How To Be Human is out now.
