The official trailer for 100 Nights of Hero features a seductive-looking Nicholas Galitzine, as well as Charli XCX and Emma Corrin.
Based on the graphic novel by Isabel Greenberg, Julia Jackman’s film features the Masters of the Universe He-man star again seducing royalty, as he did in Red, White & Royal Blue. The novel is inspired by the legendary collection of folk tales, One Thousand and One Nights, and focuses on two women in love, Cherry and Hero.
A synopsis for the film reads: “When her neglectful husband departs after placing a secret wager to test her fidelity, Cherry (Maika Monroe) and her sharp-witted maid, Hero (Corrin), must fend off a dangerously seductive visitor: Manfred (Galitzine).
The trailer establishes the key relationship between Cherry and Hero and we see the bet being set up, with Manfred’s potential prize being a castle and “everything in it”.

From there, Manfred tries to seduce Cherry by – having lost his shirt along the way – dragging a stag’s carcass up a gravel path, as well as offering water to Cherry.
Despite Hero’s interventions, Cherry seems to succumb to Manfred’s moves.
Charli XCX is glimpsed only briefly but her performance has been described by Collider as “enchanting”. Jackman has previously said the “Apple” singer was “perfect” for the role.

A first look at the film was released in July and it had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival in September.
It’s scheduled to be released in the US on 5 December and in the UK in January.
