An octogenarian has gone viral for her winning crust-ilingus technique at a lesbian pie-eating contest in San Fransisco, showing age is no limit to getting a slice of the action.
The competition took place at Rikki’s Sports Bar, located in San Fransisco’s famous Castro district, on 23 November to raise money for the Curve Foundation’s 2026 Lesbian Visibility Week.
Rikki’s, which is the only sports bar in the San Francisco Bay Area dedicated to celebrating women’s sports, described the contest as an “epically sloppy, no-hands, no-forks battle for bragging rights and a $100 cash prize”.
Amongst the crème de la crème of lesbians eager to shove their faces in something sweet for a good cause (and a good time, no doubt) was octogenarian Babs Daitch, who took home the title for ‘Best Technique’ in the contest.
Sharing clips of her participation on her social media, Daitch stated her winning technique proves “once and for all that experience matters”.
When asked about her approach, she said: “I took my time savouring every morsel of crust hidden beneath those sweet hills and valleys.”
Daitch has gone viral for her skills, with a video posted on Friday (28 November) showing her being cheered by the crowd – before sticking her tongue out in between her middle and index fingers – having gained more than 48,000 likes.
Although it was Daitch who went viral for her best technique victory, she was not the contest’s overall winner – that was an accolade awarded to a contestant named Jenn.
“Iconic. Diva. The moment. My goal in life,” one Instagram user accurately commented.
“When people ask me about my future hopes and dreams I’m just gonna show them this video,” another said, whilst a third similarly wrote: “I see my future and it is bright.”
“Absolute LEGEND,” a fourth said, and we could not agree more.
Overall, the event was a smash-hit and raised $2,000 for Lesbian Visibility Week.
“WOW, San Francisco! You really showed up and showed out this weekend,” the Curve Foundation wrote in a statement.
“The SF Lesbian Pie-Eating Contest at @rikkisbarsf was an absolute smash, and we’re still riding the high from all the joy. THANK YOU everyone for bringing the incredible energy, and congratulations to every single participant — you’re all winners in our book.”
