Wicked fans go wild as Jonathan Bailey’s hunky dance double comes forward

Wicked fans are going wild as Jonathan Bailey’s dance double has come forward to reveal himself.
In Wicked: For Good Bailey has a dance and movement double for his Fiyero form and post-scarecrow transformation, which occurs after Elphaba casts a spell on him to make sure his “bones don’t break” and to ensure he’ll feel no pain.
Fans raved about the transformation, with many commenting that his straw look made him look similar to Deadpool’s Ryan Reynolds. But what fans didn’t immediately notice was that, at points during the film, the scarecrow was Bailey’s double.
In a TikTok video, dancer and model, Oliver Wheeler, gave fans an inside look at his transformation into Bailey’s scarecrow. “Yep, that’s me, the guy in the mask,” he says at the start of the clip.
He then goes on to explain that his Instagram post revealing his identity garnered 30 million views, which led him to want to share more about his transformation doubling Bailey.
Wheeler shared that the makeup process took three and a half hours, starting at 4am in the morning.
“I wouldn’t say it was necessarily itchy, just really hot,” he said of the costume, adding that it was his “dream job”.

‘Prettiest scarecrow’
Comments underneath his TikTok and Instagram post reveal Wicked fans going wild over Wheeler’s portrayal of the scarecrow, with some people even commenting that they fancied the character.
“Never fancied a scarecrow before but there’s a first time for everything,” one person commented under his Instagram post.
“Prettiest scarecrow you ever did see. So, so proud of you,” someone else wrote.
Someone else suggested that, like Bailey, he should also be crowned the sexiest man alive: “World’s 2nd sexiest man here!”
On TikTok, a fan remarked: “SO YOU’RE WHY HE LOOKS LIKE RYAN REYNOLDS!!!”
Another fan commented: “Okay you are also beautiful so it makes sense.”
On Instagram, Wheeler also offered fans a behind-the-scenes look at his choreography for Fiyero. The post has garnered more than 24,000 likes.
