Alan Carr has announced a huge 93-date tour of the UK with a brand new show, Have I Said Too Much?

The announcement on Wednesday (3 December) follows Carr’s victory on the first series of The Celebrity Traitors, in which he claimed £87,500 ($115,000) for Neuroblastoma UK as a Traitor.

Posting on Instagram on Wednesday (3 December), Carr shared the tour’s poster as well as information about the stops and tour dates.

“It’s official. I’m heading back on tour across the UK and Ireland in 2027,” he wrote in the caption, adding: “Can’t wait to see you all there.”

The mammoth tour will see Carr start in Bromley in January 2027. He will then stop in places such as Dartford, High Wycombe, Oxford, Southend, Carlisle, and York through to March 2027.

From there he’ll venture on to Manchester, Bournemouth, Belfast, Birmingham, Liverpool, Cardiff, and more in April and May.

June will the Chatty Man visit cities like Brighton and Reading before heading into the Midlands in September. As well as Plymouth, Coventry, Ipswich, and Bristol Carr will enjoy a six-performance stint at London’s Palladium in October.

The tour will wind down towards the end of 2027 with further stops in Newcastle, Dublin, Sheffield, Hull, and more.

All in all, it looks like Carr is set for a busy 2027. However, the tour dates pour cold water on the prospect of Carr taking over as a host of Strictly Come Dancing.

In October, Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, the latter of whom also hosts The Traitors and The Celebrity Traitors, announced they were stepping down at the end of the current series. Since then, speculation has been rife as to who could replace them.

Carr’s name was top of many people’s lists, especially after his performance on The Celebrity Traitors. But many of his tour dates towards the end of 2027 fall on Saturdays, which is when Strictly films.

And maybe that’s a good thing. In response to speculation about him taking over from Daly and Winkleman Carr said it was an “honour” to be people’s favourite pick but that “People would slip in a pool of my sweat while doing the fandango.”
