Heated Rivalry is finally headed to the UK and the great news is there isn’t too long to wait!

The LGBTQ+ sports drama has taken the internet by storm since it first debuted in Canada at the end of November. Since then it’s made its way to the US, Australia and beyond.

The series, based on Rachel Reid’s Game Changers novel series follows the lives of two rival ice hockey players, Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie) and Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams). Off the ice the two start a passionate and steamy relationship.

But UK fans haven’t been unable to enjoy it fully, until now. On Wednesday (17 December) it was confirmed that Heated Rivalry will be available to watch on Sky and NOWTV.

Sharing the series’ trailer on Instagram, SkyTV wrote: “Your winter just got a steamy upgrade. You can thank us later.”

They added: “#HeatedRivalry is coming to Sky and NOW in the UK and Ireland on 10 January.”

“GINGER ALE AND TUNA MELTS FOR EVERYONE!!!” celebrated one fan in reference to the latest episode to air elsewhere.

“I’m so happy right now, we have been begging for this,” wrote another grateful fan while someone else commented: “About time!!! Leaving on repeat.”
