What is Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie’s Quinn project?

On Saturday (27 December), Quinn released stills of two men on set, teasing the upcoming project.

The images were captioned: “Cottage after party at our place?” A reference to Heated Rivalry’s sixth and final episode.

Quinn is an audio-erotica app that produces original stories voiced by famous celebrities.

“Listen to erotic stories from your favorite voices on the internet,” their Instagram bio reads. “Made by women, for the world.”

Williams and Storrie will join the celebrity offerings that include Andrew Scott, Freakier Friday‘s Manny Jacinto and Emily in Paris‘ Lucien Laviscount.

What is Ember and Ice on Quinn?

Since the confirmation of Williams and Storrie, Quinn has released a series of teasers for the project, titled Ember and Ice.

One, captioned “Strangers to lovers to enemies to…,” sees the two actors walking past each other with their hands brushing.

Another sees a montage of hands caressing skin and fingers tracing lips, which got fans riled up. The caption of the post reads, “The theme was: Brokeb-ACOTAR.”

While we don’t yet know details of the plot, it appears it’s not going to be another hot on-ice romance. Instead, the “Brokeb-ACOTAR” seems to reference the iconic gay film Brokeback Mountain and A Court of Thorns and Roses (ACOTAR), a very popular fantasy romance series.

Furthermore, a new TikTok clip sees both actors wearing wings as they circle each other.

The audio, from the book The Song of Achilles, plays over the top: “I could recognize him by touch alone, by smell; I would know him blind, by the way his breaths came and his feet struck the earth. I would know him in death, at the end of the world.”

With all the commotion, Quinn clarified some details about the upcoming erotic audio. Ember and Ice will be a gay romance (MM), and there’s no self-insert listener character.

Their statement also continues: “Yes, Hudson whimpers. No, Connor doesn’t have a Russian accent (we tried).”
