The third episode of The Night Manager season two dropped on Sunday (11 January) and fans had some very thirsty responses to a particularly intimate three-way bisexual dance scene
The British spy thriller, based on John le Carré’s 1993 novel, premiered in 2016. A decade later, the show has returned for a second series.
The Night Manager follows Loki star Tom Hiddleston as Jonathan Pine, a former military officer and hotel night manager. He is recruited to investigate the inner circle of ruthless arms dealer Richard Roper (Hugh Laurie).
The new season introduced violent Colombian businessman Teddy Dos Santos (Diego Calva) as Jonathan’s new antagonist. Additionally, businesswoman Roxana Bolaños (Camila Morrone).
Episode three was full of gasp-inducing twists and turns, but there was one scene in particular that got viewers talking.

In the moment, Jonathan, Roxana and Teddy get close and personal. The three are pressed close together, dancing with Roxana’s hands caressing both men’s faces.
Then Calva’s arm is extended to Jonathan’s waist, the latter holding his hand. It’s an intimate moment between the two men and the woman.
“Am I rewatching #TheNightManager ep 3 again already yes I am, the way they’re both looking up at him holy S**T,” one viewer posted.
“I had to pause the show because the tension was so strong,” another replied in response to the scene.
‘A power game in which they’re all on top.’
Others declared that this The Night Manager episode was their Heated Rivalry. The post includes a gif of Hiddleston’s Jonathan and Calva’s Teddy pressing their foreheads together as Roxana follows behind.
“This is the kind of greed they talk about in the bible,” another fan posted with a screenshot of the heady moment.
Another remarked: “i feel like it’s my duty to tell you all that the night manager s2 is out and tom hiddleston and diego calva have such incredible chemistry together i was stunned into silence.”
Speaking about the hot scene between the trio, screenwriter David Farr told the Guardian: “That gets very hot.
“The intelligence world has always been a sexually fluid place. Le Carré explored it in his books, going right back to Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.”
Farr went on to note that the original antagonistic relationship between Pine and Roper was “slightly homoerotic.”
“I wanted to explore the new sexual fluidity and Diego Calva was perfect for that. He has this innate openness and availability. So yes, there’s a steamy triangle going on.”
Morrone also offered her opinion on the complicated throuple and offered her experience shooting with her co-stars.
“A power game in which they’re all on top at different times and all have guns pointed at each under the table,” Morrone says of their connection.
The actor added that they got close on set and now have a Night Manager WhatsApp group.
“Tom created it and it’s called Mi Amigos,” Morrone explained. “It’s him, Diego and I, so your dream throuple! What gets sent around? If I told you, I’d have to kill you!”
