Connor Storrie’s grandma ‘grabs the Kleenex’ during Heated Rivalry sex scenes

Connor Storrie‘s grandma has shared how she gets through Heated Rivalry‘s sex scenes – and it’s an interesting technique.

The actor has become a global sensation alongside Hudson Williams after starring in the LGBTQ+ sports drama about the love affair between two rival ice hockey players.

The show, based on Rachel Reid‘s Game Changers novel series, has become a hit thanks in no small part to Storrie and Williams’ charm, chemistry and charisma.

The series’ intimate scenes have also garnered a lot of attention, becoming a big topic of conversation online.

And when it comes to watching her grandson during these moments, Storrie’s grandmother, Gayle Scarborough, has a simple trick: she doesn’t watch. Instead, as she recently told the Daily Mail, she reaches for a box of Kleenex and reads it.

“I’d listen until they started talking and I knew it was over,” Scarborough said. “In case anybody’s ever holding you hostage and they want to know, Kleenexes are 8.2 inches by 8.4 inches.”

She added: “That’s what I’d do. I pick up the Kleenex box and look at it and read it.”

Scarborough also shared how proud she is of Storrie for becoming so successful. “We’re happy for him,” she told the paper. “He’s worked really hard for this, and he’s really good at what he does. I’m so proud of him.”

Speaking to Today on Wednesday (14 January) Storrie said his family has always believed in him. “My mum is my number on supporter,” he shared. Storrie then added: “My dad hasn’t seen it and I’m not asking him to see it. I don’t think he needs to see it if he doesn’t want to.”

Creators confirmed Heated Rivalry season two in mid-December. Storrie gave an exciting update on Wednesday, while with Today, saying that filming could start in the summer.
