She captioned a series of photos of them on a beach together in wedding attire: “This may come as sudden news, but as I came to know God, I experienced true rest and a powerful sense of peace. And within the Lord, I met someone I want to spend my life with.

“He lives within the same faith as I do, cherishes me sincerely, and always shares warmth and peace with me through an honest heart. He’s a lovely person who feels comforting and familiar.”

Hye went on to share that the pair aim to build a “faith-filled family that lift one another up”.

“I do wish I could share the longer story behind this, so it feels a little sad to have to keep it brief like this,” she continued, adding that she will keep updating her fans through her music and paintings.

The post has been flooded with congratulations, with many noting that she looks “so happy”.
