Hudson Williams has done it again, breaking not only the internet but the Wonderland website as well which appeared to crash under the weight of people pre-ordering a copy of the Heated Rivalry star’s cover.

On Wednesday (28 January) Wonderland unveiled their latest cover featuring the Canadian actor, who’s been one half of the internet’s obsession since the end of November 2025. In the two months since the LGBTQ+ sports drama debuted, Heated Rivalry has catapulted Williams, as well as Connor Storrie, from relative obscurity to international fame.

Judging by reports on social media, the magazine sold out within 13 minutes of going on pre-order. Multiple people have also reported that the Wonderland site buckled under demand, crashing before some could get through.

“I’m crying, the Wonderland website crashed. I just want to pre-order my copyyy,” wrote one devastated fan as an example of many who encountered the same issue. Though it wasn’t tears for all (maybe tears of joy) as demonstrated when one person celebrated a successful pre-order by sharing a clip of Wendy Williams on X/Twitter.

With Wonderland sharing images from the photoshoot as well as BTS footage, it wasn’t long before those were shared widely across social media. After one account dedicated to Heated Rivalry GIFs shared a clip of Williams lying on the ground, shirt open, trousers undone, looking at the camera, someone replied: “I IM DESPERATE: WHERE IS THIS FROM?????!!” proving that the Hudson Williams phenomenon is still very much alive and well.

In the feature Williams discussed with co-star Sophie Nélisse, who plays Rose Landry in Heated Rivalry, his meteoric rise to fame, as well as fake news stories and being the subject of so much attention.

The actor also touched on his close relationship with Storrie. Early on, the pair’s chemistry off-screen (as well as on) became apparent and subsequently a subject of fascination for many. Though it has also led to troubling speculation about their private lives, as is unfortunately the way in 2026.

“Connor and I are aligned,” Williams told Nélisse. “We want to be different artists. We don’t want to be the Olsen twins.” He then said: “We want to be Connor and Hudson, with different filmographies and different deals. As much as we love each other, our friendship doesn’t need to be public.”

The Canadian star then revealed that the two friends coordinate engagements and “actively avoid” being seen together as much. “If you’re always seen together, you become attached at the hip,” he said.

“I FaceTime him whenever I’m free. But if we’re offered the same fashion shows, we’re like, ‘Which one are you going to? Okay, I’ll go to a different one’,” Williams continued. “We’re stubborn, selfish artists who want to be our own people. We’re like, ‘I love you. I don’t want to do everything with you.’”

Williams also mentioned having “projects in the inbox”, and wanting “to do a few things before season two”. Though he didn’t reveal much more than that. “Eventually, I want to do theatre. Broadway. A musical, after singing lessons. There’s a lot I want to do in the next two years,” he added.

Heated Rivalry is streaming now.
