RuPaul’s Drag Race star Jane Don’t has shared a touching tribute to Terry Covington, her partner from the latest makeover episode, who died in December 2025.
In the latest episode of season 18, the remaining queens were partnered with queer cowboys and tasked with giving them a drag makeover.
Tragically, after Discord Addams was told to “sashay away” by RuPaul, a memorial tribute to Jane Don’t partner Terry Covington appeared on-screen.
Jane, who was safe after critiques, shared a touching message on Instagram after the episode aired.
Sharing a photo of Terry, who she gave the name of Maybe Don’t, she wrote: “I feel extremely lucky to have gotten to meet Terry, and to have hopefully given him the Drag Race experience he wanted.
“We didn’t know each other for long, but what I did know of him was lovely and sweet and extremely patient and positive in a moment of extreme stress for all of us.

“We talked about how much we both loved our pets and our grandmas, and he reminded me of how much my generation takes for granted as queer people navigating a world our elders had to really fight for.
“He was dead set on doing well and working hard – a real cowboy through and through.
“Endless love to Terry’s family and friends. Rest easy, my Queen.”
During the episode, Terry made it clear he was keen to go all in, saying he would happily shave off his beard. But he was firm on keeping his eyebrows.
The drag duo bonded on having mullets, with Jane saying: “We do have matching mullets, and I know I can connect with anybody who has a mullet.”
Terry said of being a gay cowboy: “It’s my happy place. When I came out, that was one of the issues I had coming out, I was giving up a way of life. Then at my first gay rodeo I fell in love.”
Jane said during a confessional: “I am really struck by just how nice of a guy he is, which is making me feel kind of emotional.
“This guy has led this life that is so wildly different from mine, but he is also part of the reason that I can do what I am doing right now, and I just really wanna make sure that he has a good time doing this.”
Jane’s co-stars have shared tributes under her Instagram post, with Mia Starr writing: “You have such a beautiful heart. I love you so much.”
Ciara Myst commented: “You created a moment of magic together.”
While judge Carson Kressley simply left a string of heart emojis underneath.
RuPaul’s Drag Race airs Fridays at 8pm ET/PT on MTV, and streams internationally on WOW Presents Plus.
