The bodyguard who allegedly made Jude Law’s 11-year-old daughter cry after an incident involving Chappell Roan has spoken out.
Over the weekend, footballer Jorginho stated on Instagram that his step-daughter and wife had seen Chappell Roan at breakfast at a hotel. He claimed his step-daughter walked by Roan to see if it was really her, when a bodyguard came up to her and her mother and berated them.
Roan shared her side of the story in a video on Instagram, saying nobody came up to her and that the security involved was not personally employed by her. She shared her sadness over the whole ordeal.

Jorginho’s wife Catherine Harding followed it up with her own statement, saying it was a “big problem” if the security had acted without Roan’s consent, adding he was “aggressive and intimidating”.
What did bodyguard Pascal Duvier say?
Now, the security guard in question, Pascal Duvier, has spoken out to take responsibility.
In a statement on his Instagram Story, the bodyguard, who has worked with the likes of Kim Kardashian, Fergie and Kris Jenner in the past, addressed the “false” accusations.
“I take full responsibility for the interactions on March 21st,” he started.
“I was at the hotel on behalf of another individual, and I was not part of the personal security team of Chappell Roan. The actions I took were not on behalf of Chappell Roan, her personal security team, her management, or any other individuals.

“I made a judgement call based on information we obtained from the hotel, events I had witnessed in the days prior and the heightened overall security risk of our location.”
He added: “My sole interaction with the mother was calm and with good intentions, and the outcome of the encounter is regretful.”
His statement backs up Roan’s version of events, making it clear he was not employed by her on the day.
She said in her own video: “I’m sorry to the mother and child that someone was assuming something that you would do something, that if you felt uncomfortable, that makes me really sad. You did not deserve that.”
