Vivian Wilson sticks it to dad Elon Musk as she sells ‘Evil Woke Mind Virus’ merch

Vivian Wilson has announced that she’s selling new “Evil Woke Mind Virus” merch with a portion of proceeds going to an LGBTQ+ charity, once again sticking it to dad Elon Musk.
Posting to Threads, Wilson shared a link to her OpenWav shop where people can buy the slogan emblazoned on t-shirts, hoodies, baseball caps, tote bags, pet bowls and t-shirts for cats and dogs.
Wilson also confirmed that a portion of the proceeds from sales will be donated to The Trevor Project, an LGBTQ+ youth suicide-prevention charity that supports young members of the community in times of crisis through its free 24/7 call, chat and text service and resources.
The slogan itself comes from Wilson’s estranged father, Elon Musk. In 2024, he claimed that his child had been “killed [by the] woke mind virus” while speaking to right-wing commentator Jordan Peterson for Daily Wire, referring to the fact that Wilson is a trans woman.
Musk then used the phrase again in late 2025 while engaging in an X tiff with California governor Gavin Newsom, writing of Wilson: “[She] has a tragic mental illness caused by the evil woke mind virus you push on vulnerable children. I love [Vivian] very much and hope [she] recovers.”
Wilson’s followers shared their support for the merch on Threads, with one user writing: “You’re so much cooler than your lame a** dad I just KNOW he jolts awake in the middle of the night all haunted and s***.”
“You might be one of the coolest people ever actually,” said another.
Another wrote, tongue-in-cheek: “I just downloaded the app to get this for my little sister, who is also afflicted with this virus. Thank you for raising awareness about this important cause.”
