Actor Jack Innanen has confirmed he’s had “conversations” about Heated Rivalry season two, after fans decided he’d be perfect as Troy Barrett or Wyatt Hayes.
The Adults star spoke to Entertainment Tonight while promoting new Netflix series Big Mistakes, created by Dan Levy.
The 27-year-old, who is Canadian, said of the casting rumours: “I’ve had some… conversations. We’ve chatted.”
However he refused to confirm whether he’d signed on for the show, zipping his lips and saying: “Who knows?”
Innanen reckons he’s perfect for the Crave show, which is produced in Canada. He added: “I think I’m perfect for the show because I am down for anything and I played hockey.
“I got some mini sticks, I’ve been practising, I’ve been working on my stick handling. I’ve been working on my hip mobility.”
Who could Jack Innanen play in Heated Rivalry?

Heated Rivalry fans, especially those that have read the source novel series Game Changers, have said Jack Innanen would make a great Troy Barrett or Wyatt Hayes.
A recently leaked casting call for the show seemed to confirm that characters from the fifth book, Role Model, would be appearing.
Wyatt Hayes is not one of the main focuses of the book series, but is a popular, friendly hockey player. He plays for the Ottowa Centaurs, alongside Ilya Rozanov (played by Connor Storrie).
Troy Barrett, however, is one of the focal characters of the series, with his relationship with Centaurs social media manager Harris Drover explored in Role Model.
After confronting his friend and teammate Dallas Kent about some sexual assault allegations, he is traded to the Ottowa Centaurs – while also struggling with a breakup from his secret boyfriend.
However, the alleged casting call was not looking for a Troy Barrett, just a Harris Drover, which led many to believe the role had already been casted – and that Jack Innanen had bagged it.
