Updated betting odds for the 2025 series of Celebrity Big Brother (CBB) are predicting that the show will likely be won by a queer star.

If the CBB betting odds remain consistent and end up being correct, it would mark four LGBTQ+ winners in a row since the original social experiment TV series was relaunched by ITV in 2023.

TV personality David Potts won the first season of ITV’s Celebrity Big Brother last March, while the first two civilian series on the network were won by bisexual lawyer Jordan Sangha and lesbian psychologist Ali Bromley.

Current odds as of 25 April are predicting that RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season four winner Danny Beard will win the series, with odds of 4/6: which gives him a chance of winning of 60 per cent, according to bookies.com.

If Danny does win the show, she’ll be the second Drag Race finalist to win a season of Celebrity Big Brother, following Courtney Act’s victory in 2018.

Even if Danny Beard doesn’t make it all the way to the CBB crown, the third-in-line for the throne is another queer star: the all-singing, all-dancing social media star and musician, Jojo Siwa.

Siwa has had a rollercoaster of a ride in the Celebrity Big Brother house so far, after navigating comments she called “homophobic” from Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke – who was later removed from the house for inappropriate behaviour – and opening up about her gender identity.

Recent episodes have seen Siwa talk with her fellow housemates, including Danny, about her potentially being non-binary. Danny, who identifies as non-binary himself, has been on hand to reassure her that it’s OK if she doesn’t yet know how she identifies.

Jojo Siwa has odds of 8/1 at present, which equates to about 11 per cent; this is down from last week when she had a roughly 26 per cent chance of leaving the CBB house as the winner, according to betting odds. Her perceived “flirting” with Love Island star Chris Hughes has proved quite controversial, which could account for the popularity drop.

Both Danny and particularly JoJo Siwa face stiff competition from Coronation Street star Jack P. Shepherd, who has played David Platt on the cobbles for 25 years. Despite being up for eviction both times so far, he’s survived – and as of 25 April has odds of 2/1: this gives him a 33 per cent chance of winning the whole thing.

Siwa’s BFF in the house and Love Island star Chris Hughes is fourth in the running for the win, with 40/1 odds, which equates to a 2.44 per cent chance.

“The One And Only” hitmaker Chesney Hawkes comes in as fifth most likely to reign superior, but with considerably lower odds: he’s apparently got a 50/1 chance, which is just a 1.9 per cent chance of bagging the gold medal.

Comedian Donna Preston currently has odds of 20/1, according to Bookies.com, putting her ahead of Chris Hughes and Chesney Hawkes. 20/1 is around 4.6%.

The only way to find out who will actually win is, of course, to tune into the final tonight.

Celebrity Big Brother is expected to end on Friday 25 April at 9pm where the winner will be crowned.

Celebrity Big Brother airs Sunday to Friday from 9pm BST on ITV and ITVX.
