All Elite Wrestling’s (AEW) Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm made a powerful statement at this week’s AEW Collision when she declared: “I’m here and I’m queer!”
The New Zealand-Australian wrestler – whose real name is Toni Rossall – identifies as bisexual and came out publicly in 2021.
During the AEW Collision event on 4 May, Toni fought against Lady Frost in a World Championship eliminator match. Despite Frost being in control for most of the match, Toni ultimately claimed victory with a tight TCM Chicken Wing manoeuvre.
During her celebrations, Toni grabbed the mic and said to loud cheers from the audience: “This whore you all adore. This slut you can’t rebut. This tramp is still the champ.”
Playfully describing Frost as a “frosty little slop tart,” and recognising “there’s a fresh batch of slop tarts” waiting to have their go against her, Toni also said, “everyone’s coming for Toni Storm.”
But everyone had it all wrong, she went on to say. “Toni Storm comes for everybody!” to more cheers. “So, if your tits can take the hits then I’m not a hard woman to find,” she continued.

She then ran outside to a balcony where she proudly exclaimed: “One thing I know is for sure, I will be ready, I will be sweaty, I am here and I’m queer and I will always be Timeless!”
Storm then had a victorious Evita-like moment on the balcony as the audience cheered even more emphatically and the music swelled.
It marked a significant moment for LGBTQ+ visibility in professional wrestling. And for Storm personally, who continues to break barriers not only with her in-ring talent but also with her unapologetic authenticity.
As well as Toni, other wrestlers who identify as LGBTQ+ include Cassandro, Abadon, Anthony Bowens, and more.
