Love, Victor star Michael Cimino has the gays of the internet feeling hot under the collar in a revealing scene from his new Prime Video drama, Motorheads.
In his new big role, Michael Cimino plays Zac Torres, one in a “group of outsiders” who form an unexpected bond over street racing.
The official synopsis for the show reads: “Set in a once-thriving rust-belt town that’s now searching for a glimmer of hope, the series is an adrenaline-filled story of a group of outsiders who form an unlikely friendship over a mutual love of street racing, while navigating the hierarchy and rules of high school.”
The 10-part coming of age series also explores “first love, first heartbreak, and the thrill of starting your first car”.
Though reviews for Motorheads have been mixed – The Guardian gave it a grimace-worthy two-star review, while The Hollywood Reporter dubbed it “surprisingly sweet” – gay viewers are fixated on one very particular scene in episode one.
In the clip, which is currently doing the rounds on social media, Cimino is filmed from below while completely shirtless, baring his impressively toned abs.

A flood of responses from fans range from “I need him so bad” to “Need to watch this movie” – despite Motorheads being a TV show. The age-old saying is still true: sex sells.
Michael Cimino’s breakout role was in the gay Hulu series Love, Victor, in which he starred as the titular character Victor Salazar between 2020 and 2022. The three-season show is set in the same world as the 2018 hit film Love, Simon.
While Cimino is best known for his role in the gay series, the star doesn’t identify as gay himself. In a 2020 interview with NBC News, the actor said that he believes sexuality is a “spectrum” but he identifies as “straight”.
“I don’t feel that anyone is 100 percent straight or 100 percent wherever you lie on the scale. I feel like sexuality is not necessarily fluid. It’s more like a spectrum. And so finding out where you lie on that is important,” he said.

“As of right now, I am straight. I don’t want to put myself in a box and put myself in a position where if I were to come out as bi or as gay 10 years from now, that I was defending an identity that was being true to myself.”
In addition to Cimino, Motorheads also stars I Know What You Did Last Summer actor Ryan Phillippe, The Wilds star Mia Healey, One of Us Is Lying actress Melissa Collazo and Dynasty’s Nathalie Kelley.
It’s helmed by John A Norris, best known for his work as a producer on adored hit teen drama One Tree Hill.
Motorheads is streaming on Prime Video now.
