One Twitter user stated: “Hulu ending Love, Victor at season three is SO strange. They don’t have any other original shows to cater to the demographic Love, Victor caters to.”
“No wonder the Love, Victor cast been attached at the hip more than ever… this is their last time filming together,” one wrote.
Another added: “Devastated that this amazing show [Love, Victor] will end on season three. Victor’s journey with his sexuality and other important things has helped me even though I’m already out. So it will be extremely sad to let this show go.”
Others argued that the timing didn’t make sense due to the show’s growing popularity as one fan tweeted: “Love, Victor was actually starting to get popular too this is crazy.”
“The show could’ve easily went on for many more years,” another added.

However, many fans shared their joy at the fact the series would be ending in a way it could control.
“Yes Love, Victor is a great show but I’m glad they’re ending on their own terms and not milking it for everything that it’s worth,” one tweeted.
The series, which premiered in June 2020, has followed the journey of Victor as he comes out during his time at Creekwood High.
Season two saw the newly-out character face new challenges from his family struggling with his revelation, a heartbroken ex-girlfriend in Mia and the difficulties of being an openly gay star athlete.
Love, Victor season three will premiere on Star on Disney+ in the UK and Ireland later this year.
Meanwhile in the US viewers will get the entire third season from 15 June on streaming platform Hulu.
