Gay fitness model Donald Zieben-Hood has been arrested and charged with possession of a weapon after his husband was found dead with multiple stab wounds.
Personal fitness trainer and influencer Jacob Zieben-Hood was found dead on Friday (1 August) at his home in New York City. He was just 34 years old.
Responding to a 911 call, police found his body after arriving at the scene at 4am local time. He was discovered with injuries to his head and leg.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. An official cause of death has not yet been reported.
Jacob’s husband and fellow fitness influencer, Donald, was also present at their home in Harlem. He reportedly had three cuts on his arm, which required stitches.
He was arrested on Sunday (3 August) and charged with burglary, criminal contempt of court, and weapons possession.
Donald claims he fell asleep following an argument between the pair and awoke at 4am to find Jacob dead.
A court date on the case is reportedly set for 7 August. Donald has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.
