Bisexual US rapper Doechii has pulled out of appearances at All Points East festival in east London and Forwards Festival in Bristol, leaving fans devastated.

The “Anxiety” and “Alter Ego” hitmaker was due to perform at the annual All Points East festival at Victoria Park in east London on Saturday (23 August), appearing on the bill under headliner RAYE.

She was also due to appear at Forwards Festival in Bristol on Sunday (24 August) and at the Rock en Seine festival in west Paris on Thursday (21 August), yet she has now pulled out of all three performances.

In a statement on social media, All Points East festival organisers stated that the 27-year-old is “no longer able” to perform at All Points East, and offered their apologies to “any disappointed fans”.

“We’re very sorry to announce that Doechii will no longer be performing at her upcoming shows. She is an incredible artist, and, like all of her fans, we were hugely excited to see her on stage,” the statement reads.

“All Points East has an amazing line-up including RAYE, Tyla, JADE, Jyoty, Nao and many more, and it’s set to be a truly unforgettable day.”

Organisers wrote that they hoped to welcome Doechii to the festival again in the future, and confirmed that they are working “very hard” to fill Doechii’s performance slot.

Forwards Festival organisers said that Doechii would “not be performing at her upcoming shows”.
