JoJo Siwa hints at desire to start a family with Chris Hughes

Never one to be coy with the life updates, JoJo Siwa has hinted that she could be ready to have children with Chris Hughes.

The 22-year-old “Raspy” singer has (officially) been with Love Island-er and racing pundit Chris Hughes, 32, since June after meeting on Celebrity Big Brother in April. The two, who became close on the show, initially denied their relationship once the show ended, before confirming they were together weeks later.

Since then the pair have been seen together on a number of occasions, often posting some decidedly saccharine content on their profiles.

In a recent interview with The Sun, Siwa was asked whether she wanted children to which she said, “Absolutely.” She then elaborated, “I crave them, I absolutely would love to have babies. Yeah, it’s absolutely in my future and I don’t think it’s that far away.”

Siwa also said: “I’m in a place in my life where my career by no means is slowing down, but my career is at a point where it works and it runs and I know how to do everything that I’m doing and I’m not learning anything new, and so I’m at a great place with that.

“Obviously I have a great boy in my life, but there’s a lot of things to happen before then, but definitely want kids.”

This follows the internet’s hype over whether the “Karma” singer was pregnant. This began when a TikTok showed Hughes gently rubbing Siwa’s stomach.

Siwa sent fans into a tizzy while teasing the release of her maligned cover of Kim Carnes’ “Bette Davis Eyes” with a TikTok stating “Two Truths and a Lie.” The options were: “I’ve never smoked a cigarette,” “I’m pregnant,” and “This song comes out on Spotify on Friday.”

Siwa’s mum, Jessalynn added further fuel to the fire when she commented: “Grandma Jess reporting for duty.”

Hughes has also touched on the idea of children with Siwa in recent weeks. In July he told E! News that Siwa had revealed she would like to call her children Freddie, Eddy and Teddy. “I don’t know about those names. I have names that I like. I’m still kind of undecided on them,” he said.

What’s clear is that Siwa and Hughes’ relationship is going strong. So strong that the Dance Moms star has named her partner’s testicles as we found out recently from Hughes himself. “She calls my balls Jimmy and Timmy,” Hughes also told E! News.
