The 2025 festival season might be almost over, but there’s still one big event to go. This bank holiday weekend thousands will descend on Reading and Leeds for the iconic pair of festivals, which this year will feature Chappell Roan.
The two festivals – which take place simultaneously on the same weekend – have been headlined by a raft of legendary artists over the years, including Pink Floyd, Nirvana, Liam Gallagher and Eminem.
Reading and Leeds Festival 2025 is, of course, no different and the line-up this weekend will be topped by Travis Scott, Bring Me the Horizon, Hozier and – queen of the lesbians, woman of the moment – Chappell Roan.
How to watch the Reading and Leeds festival on TV
As usual, Reading and Leeds Festival takes place across the August bank holiday weekend, this year, it will run from Thursday (August 21) to Sunday (August 24).
Reading Festival will take place at Richfield Avenue whilst Leeds will be held at Bramham Park.
Don’t worry if you haven’t been able to get a ticket, you can watch the coverage as it will be broadcast on BBC One, iPlayer, Radio 1 and BBC Sounds.
Who is on the line-up and what are the set times?
Alongside headliners Travis Scott, Bring Me the Horizon, Hozier and Chappell Roan, the festivals will also see performances from Enter Shikari, Conan Grey, Limp Bizkit, The Kooks, Becky Hill, AJ Tracey, Suki Waterhouse and Trippie Redd.
Chappell Roan’s appearance on the main stage at the festival will mark her only gig in England this year and comes after a mammoth year for the “Good Luck Babe!” singer, whose most recent track “The Subway” shot to number one in the charts.
The song’s immediate success marks the singer’s second number one hit in the UK, with “Pink Pony Club” reaching the top spot in March more than five years after it was first released.
Melvin Benn, Managing Director of Festival Republic, said the 2025 line-up is “truly special”.
Saying, as quoted by Yahoo News: “This is one of the youngest average ages for headliners in years, and that’s very exciting in itself.”
