Queer Eye’s Antoni Porowski appears to have finally gone “Instagram official” with his new boyfriend, reports Just Jared.
The show’s culinary expert, who had previously opened up about his initial hesitation in joining the Fab Five on the Netflix reality series, went public with his new relationship over the past weekend.
Taking to Instagram, the 41-year-old shared photos from a trip to Traverse City, Michigan, with his new partner, 33-year-old personal trainer Zacharias Niedzwiecki.
Antoni captioned the post: “pro-tip: find a local to show u around Traverse City 😉”
A source told US Weekly that the pair have been dating since “early this year”.
Their first Instagram photo together was posted on 30 June from a yacht trip on the Mediterranean Sea.
They also appear to have travelled together to Aspen, Colorado and Mountain, New York. Zacharias also called Antoni “my guy” in one of his posts.
The announcement of their relationship follows Antoni calling off his engagement to his former fiancé Kevin Harrington in November 2023, after a year-long engagement and three years of dating.
According to Antoni’s rep they “amicably decided to part ways”. “While they still have a lot of respect for each other, as they talked more about the future, they realized they were on different paths,” the rep told People.
In 2023, Antoni shared that he was initially hesitant to take part in the Netflix reality show. He told diver Tom Daley on the Olympic gold medalist’s Made With Love podcast, that he was fearful about taking on the Queer Eye role because he would have to discuss his sexuality and personal life publicly.
Having heard that Queer Eye was being rebooted by Netflix, but the new show would have more of a focus on the Fab Five’s lives, as well as the people getting a life makeover, he shared: “I just got like a chill down my spine because… it was talking about my personal life and sexuality.
“It wasn’t anything that I wanted to share with the public, but I was so afraid.”
