Tan France has revealed that Meghan Markle made him feel “so welcome” on the second series of With Love, Meghan.

The Queer Eye fashion expert appeared on the third episode of the Nextflix show to cook and create with the Duchess of Sussex.

“Meghan shares personal tips and tricks, embracing playfulness over perfection, and highlights how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected,” the show’s official synopsis reads. “She and her guests roll up their sleeves in the kitchen, the garden and beyond and invite you to do the same.”

On screen with Tan France, she makes an Instagram-worthy French toast breakfast, topping it off with her signature edible flowers. “Wow, that’s the gayest s*** I’ve seen in a long time,” Tan enthuses.

Tan France took to Instagram to upload stills from the episode, and wrote: “Behind the scenes of the most lovely day spent with the most lovely [Meghan].

“She made me feel so welcome, taught me about the ‘gayest’ flower sprinkles and [gave] me the most heartfelt of gifts that I will treasure for ever.”

During the episode, France and Markle also discussed how they struggle when separated from their children.

When France talked about being away from his two children, Markle empathised and said she’s ever been away from Archie and Lilibet for more than three weeks.

With Love, Meghan reviews

However, reviews of the second season of the show haven’t been particularly kind.

Giving it just two stars, The Guardian described the show as a “so painfully contrived, that it’s genuinely fascinating.”

The Independent awarded it a single star and aimed barbs at the programme’s format. “Recipes are only half explained, specifics of paints and craft materials aren’t actually shared,” the reviewer wrote. “It’s as if they already know no one in their right mind is going to attempt this stuff.”

And the show has a pretty stinky 20 per cent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with more negative than positive reviews.

Season two of With Love, Meghan is streaming on Netflix now.
