This Morning host Rylan Clark has revealed that he is in his first relationship in four years, and his first since he divorced from his ex husband, Dan Neal.
Speaking candidly on his podcast Rylan: How To Be In Love with journalist Louis Theroux, the TV presenter revealed that he is now “very happy”, but admitted to initially being unsure about the prospect of a new romance.
“I’ve not been in a relationship for the past four years. I think part of me has been scared to get into a relationship,” he confessed.
“I shouldn’t be scared of getting into a relationship even if it don’t work because otherwise I’m never going to get into that relationship.”
He went on to reveal that he has introduced his unnamed partner to his family, and has been taking him out in public.

“It’s great and I’m happy and it feels very different to anything I’ve had before, which is a good sign to me,” he shared
‘It’s the first person I’ve met in four years that I’ve introduced to my family. I’m happy. I’ve not done probably what I should-slash-did do, which is not really go to restaurants, not really do this and want to keep it on the quiet. I’ve done the opposite.”
He continued: “I’ve been so blatant about it no one’s noticed, which I’m sort of a little bit cocky at and I’m going to own. But I thought I’m not going to… just because of my job and I don’t want people finding out, I’m not going to miss out on this part. I’m loving what I’ve got at the minute and I want to keep it that way.”
He later confirmed news of his new boyfriend to his BBC Radio 2 show co-host Lottie Uttley while on air, and joked about his hope that the confirmation would finally shut down rumours of a romance between him and his friend and Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour co-presenter, Robert Rinder.
Rylan Clark was previously married to Big Brother contestant Dan Neal, but the pair separated in 2021 after six years of marriage.

The relationship came to an end following Clark’s revelation that he had cheated on his husband, and following their divorce, the TV stalwart suffered from heart failure, and had to take an extended work break as his mental health spiralled.
Last week, the former The X Factor contestant faced backlash after he shared his views on immigration during a segment on ITV’s This Morning.
While the star said that the UK is “built on immigration” he went on to say that the “narrative” in the UK is that people who arrive in the country via crossing the English Channel are given an “iPad”, “the NHS in reception of your hotel” and “a games room in the hotel”.
Clark was criticised over his viewpoint, but the Dating Naked UK host later releasing a statement doubling down.
“You can be pro immigration and against illegal routes,” Rylan wrote in a statement posted to Instagram and X.
“You can support trans people and have the utmost respect for women. You can be heterosexual and still support gay rights.
“The list continues. Stop with this putting everyone in a box exercise and maybe have conversations instead of shouting on twitter [sic, now X].”
