World Athletics Championships hurdler issued ‘d**k-measuring contest’ to opponent before final

Two athletes who competed in the World Athletics Championships 400-metre hurdles final proved that every inch matters after engaging in a (verbal) ‘d**k-measuring contest’ before the event.

Though the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo has now crowned a winner in the final of the 400-metre men’s hurdles event, which took place 19 September, the competition was stiff – very stiff.

Before the final, which was won by the United States’ Rai Benjamin (after a disqualification that was then annulled after an appeal, caused by him slightly knocking one of his opponent’s hurdles during the race), the athlete was one of three favourites to triumph.

Benjamin, along with Norway’s Karsten Warholm and Brazil’s Alison dos Santos were the trio to watch, and on the subject of the race being won by inches, Warholm issued a unique challenge to his competitors ahead of the final, 17 September.

“We’ll see if it turns into a good old-fashioned d**k-measuring contest,” Warholm said, as reported by Citius Magasine.

And in response, event champion Benjamin seemed to be safe and secure in his *cough* athletic ability, by which we really mean penis size.

“Well, I’m Black. So we already know how that one goes in a d**k-measuring contest,” he responded.

And it seems that Benjamin, the new World Athletics Champion for the 400-metre hurdles, really did put his money where his penis mouth was.

He finished with a time of 46.52, while Dos Santos (who did not have a response to the measuring of genitals), came second with a time of 46.84.

Warholm, for all his faith in his package, came fifth in the final, with a time of 47.58.

Still no word on the amount of inches each athlete was lugging down the track, but we’ll leave that up to the imagination.

It is not the first time that athletes and bulges have gone hand-in-hand in recent months.

In June, American athlete Chris Robinson won his 400-metre men’s hurdles event (what is it about that specific sport?) at the Ostrava Golden Spike meet, despite his penis falling out of his shorts.

And before that, at the Paris 2024 Olympics, French pole-vaulter Anthony Ammirati had his medal hopes crushed when his own pole knocked the bar off its perch during the qualifying round.
