Elliot Page and his partner Julia Shiplett looked radiant as they made their red carpet debut at Milan Fashion Week earlier this week.
The couple appeared at a 23 September photo call for an event celebrating Gucci’s Spring Summer 2026 collection. Page grinned as he wore a dark pinstripe suit and open white shirt, studded with a red Artists4Ceasefire enamel pin. Actress Shiplett arrived in an emerald shirt and skirt combo, clutching a black handbag in one arm and Page in the other.
Elliot Page was at the event to watch Gucci’s short film The Tiger, which he stars in alongside trans model Alex Consani, Demi Moore, Edward Norton, Keke Palmer, and Kendall Jenner. The film is directed by Spike Jonze and Halina Reijn.
The starry outing marked the first time Page and Shiplett have appeared at a glitzy event together, almost three months after Page appeared to confirm their romance on Instagram.
Back in June, marking the end of Pride month, Page posted a photo of himself and Shiplett cuddling up and smiling, standing on a rainbow crosswalk. He shared the sweet photo alongside a short caption featuring the rainbow and pink heart emojis.
At the time, Shiplett reportedly responded to Page’s post by sharing a shirtless video of the Close To You actor on her Instagram Stories, alongside the caption: “Happy prideeee,” plus the water droplets and exhaling face emojis.
It’s Page’s first public relationship since coming out as a trans man back in December 2020.
Who is Julia Shiplett?
Elliot Page’s girlfriend Julia Shiplett is a stand-up comedian and actress, best known for her roles in Prime Video’s queer comedy Overcompensating, HBO comedy-drama High Maintenance, and mini-series Ad World. She is also an experienced copywriter, TV writer, and “comedy creative”.
In 2022, the comedian revealed that her proudest career moment came in 2021, when she conducted a Zoom reading of an episode of Netflix show Bling Empire which she wrote and produced.
Bling Empire is the first American reality TV series with a cast made up exclusively of people of East and Southeast Asian descent. Shiplett is also of Asian descent, as her mother is from Hong Kong.
“Our goal was also to raise money for Chinatown mutual aids in both New York and L.A., and we would have been happy if we had raised $1,000, but we ended up with almost $10,000 in donations. It was a very special experience for us,” she shared.
On the topic of career goals, Shiplett told Vulture that she wished to be cast in a period piece.

“I have a joke about this, but I’m completely serious: All I want is to have my little titties spilling out of a corset and illuminated by candlelight on-camera,” she quipped.
“And I’m not picky about the era or the role. I will play a noble, serf, town wench, anything. I’m not good at accents and I do have vocal fry, but I’m staying hopeful.”
