Lesbian icons Hayley Kiyoko and Chappell Roan both attended Lilly Singh’s Diwali party and snapped a photograph together – much to the thrill of sapphics everywhere.

YouTuber and actress Singh, 37, held her fifth annual Diwali party in Los Angeles on Friday night (17 October) with the theme of ‘Love & Light: A Royal Affair’.

Diwali, known of the festival of light marks the victory of good over evil, is one of India’s biggest holidays of the year and is celebrated by millions of people around the world.

Singh’s party took place ahead of the Hindu celebration kicking off on 20 October and was attended by a raft of famous faces, including the two queer singers.

Sharing photographs of the event on her official Instagram page – including a selfie with Roan, herself with her fiancée Becca Tilley and the pair with Singh – Kiyoko captioned the post: “Always the best time celebrating Diwali at @lilly ‘s Love and Light party. Thank you Lilly for bringing us all to together and happy Diwali 🫶🏼”

In the comments, fans simply could not contain their excitement at the big sapphic crossover, with plenty absolutely begging for a collab between the “Pink Pony Club” hitmaker and “Girls Like Girls” singer.

“Lily, chappell, hayley and becca ?? I did not expect this queer crossover episode 😭 You all look stunning,” one fan praised.

“Chappell & Hayley THE DUO we needed 😂,” another commented.
