Fans were left disappointed after lesbian singer Reneé Rapp postponed two dates on her Bite Me tour.

Rapp said on Sunday (26 October) that she would not be fit to perform her show in Atlanta, Georgia, that day, or in Tampa, Florida, on Monday (27 October). The dates have been rescheduled to 4 and 5 November and all original tickets will be honoured.

“In my career, I have never had to do this before,” the singer wrote on Instagram, “but I have to reschedule. I’ve been pushing through an illness but my body has finally given out.

The “Leave Me Alone” hit-maker said she planned to continue the tour in Charlotte, in North Carolina, this week.

The European leg of the tour is due to begin in March. She will perform in Antwerp, Amsterdam, Berlin, Cologne and Paris before hitting Manchester and London.
