Fans were left disappointed after lesbian singer Reneé Rapp postponed two dates on her Bite Me tour.
Rapp said on Sunday (26 October) that she would not be fit to perform her show in Atlanta, Georgia, that day, or in Tampa, Florida, on Monday (27 October). The dates have been rescheduled to 4 and 5 November and all original tickets will be honoured.
“In my career, I have never had to do this before,” the singer wrote on Instagram, “but I have to reschedule. I’ve been pushing through an illness but my body has finally given out.
“My doctors have told me that it isn’t safe to perform due to the need for vocal rest and physical recovery.
“I truly appreciate how much time, planning and preparation goes into coming to a show. I can’t describe to you how sorry I am to have to move things around. I love you all and will see you soon.”

The “Leave Me Alone” hit-maker said she planned to continue the tour in Charlotte, in North Carolina, this week.
The European leg of the tour is due to begin in March. She will perform in Antwerp, Amsterdam, Berlin, Cologne and Paris before hitting Manchester and London.
The tour is promoting her second album, on which she confessed she wanted her girlfriend to “ruin her life” and raged that her partner’s ex is still about.
