Porn legend Brent Corrigan has revealed that he has been absent from social media for three years because he suffered a “massive seizure” which had him, at one time, on life support.

Adult-film star Corrigan, whose real name is Sean Paul Lockhart, rose to fame in the 2000s and his life was depicted in the film, King Cobra. He was unimpressed by the movie and accused the filmmakers of “bastardising my early years in porn”.

On Saturday (25 October), Corrigan returned to social media after a three-year break. Prior to that, he last posted on Instagram in November 2022. Four months ago, he took to X/Twitter for the first time in three years, to post an image of himself riding a horse.

In a thread of new posts, Corrigan said he had “an important life update to share”, revealing that in February 2023 he had suffered what he called a massive seizure.

“I was immediately rushed to the hospital, where I was placed on life support but, unfortunately, they weren’t able to register any brain activity.”

It was “by some strange miracle,” that he was saved by the “incredible” hospital staff, he went on to say. Since then, he has been recovering and has had to re-learn how to do basic things such as walk and eat. He left hospital four months later and has been helped back into daily life by family and friends.

“Believe it or not, I even started riding horses,” he said. “And if you know where to look, you can still find me out having a good time on weekends.” Dressed in trousers, a tank top and a cowboy hat, he is seen smiling broadly in the picture.

He even hoped to enter a horse race in a few weeks’ time.

One fan responded by writing: “It’s great to see that you’re doing good,” while someone else said, “Glad you are doing OK, take care.”
