A report has revealed that Donald Trump tattoos top the list of most regretted celebrity tattoo types in the US.

According to a report from online casino BetUS, Donald Trump tattoos are Americans’ most regretted. The report revealed that requests for tattoos of the current president have fallen out of popularity within the past 12 months.

Ink featuring Trump has plummeted in search interest, with only 110 searches over the past 12 months, followed by tattoos of gender critic JK Rowling (1,330 searches) and rapper Kanye West (5,310 searches).

The drop in interest is unsurprising, given that Trump’s second term has already been marred with regressive legislation, attempts to stamp out inclusivity and bids to pass harmful executive actions.

In July, GLAAD’s Trump accountability tracker reached a milestone of 300 anti-LGBTQ+ actions, statements and policies against the community, from the start of the Trump administration’s first term until today.

Since the start of his second term, at least 77 anti-LGBTQ+ actions were taken by Trump, including the removal of the 988 suicide and crisis hotline’s specialised services for LGBTQ+ youth.

The Trump administration is also set to heavily restrict access to gender-affirming care for trans youth under new health proposals, which were leaked to the press.

Exclusively reported by NPR, the new proposals put forth by the Department of Health and Human Services would prohibit federal Medicaid reimbursement for trans patients under the age of 18 and also block all Medicaid and Medicare funding for services at hospitals which provide gender-affirming care to young trans people.

Trump has also signed a raft of anti-trans executive orders including proclaiming that the official policy of the US is that there are “only two sexes”, banning transgender people from serving in the military, barring trans women from female sport and restricting gender-affirming healthcare for trans youngsters under the age 19. He has also moved to eliminate diversity, equity and inclusion programmes across the government and in the military.
