Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown has officially confirmed her real name in a new interview, stunning not only fans but also her co-star Noah Schnapp.

The two actors were paired together for interviews attached to the fifth and final season of the hit Netflix sci-fi show. This led to a hilarious moment where Schnapp repeatedly failed to say his close friend’s full name correctly.

Brown announced her engagement and marriage to Jake Bongiovi, son of rock legend Jon Bon Jovi, in 2024. Also, earlier this year, the pair welcomed their first child, a baby girl, through adoption.

In a recent interview with VT, Schnapp was tested on details about his friend’s real name. In doing so, Brown revealed she had changed her real name while maintaining her stage name, Millie Bonnie Brown.

The latter is what Schnapp said when asked what Millie’s full name is. “Well, now?” Brown noted.

“Millie Bonnie Brown Bongiovi,” Schnapp quickly answered. However, Millie shook her head and told him it was wrong, which sent him into giggles.

His third guess was a real tongue twister: “Millie Bonnie Bobby Bongiovi Brown.” Brown once again told him it wasn’t right and she clarified: “No Bobby.”

Schnapp tried again: “Millie Bonnie Brown…” Then Brown jumped in to correct him: “Drop the Brown. It’s just Millie Bonnie Bongiovi. Millie Bon Bon!”

This comedic moment revealed the actress had taken her husband’s last name and dropped her own.

In a separate interview earlier this year, Brown revealed that her real birth name was Millie Bonnie Brown. She subsequently changed Bonnie to Bobby. When asked why she made the change, she jokingly responded: “For s**** and giggles.”

Brown and Schnapp return to Stranger Things as Eleven and Will Byers, respectively. The final season sees Eleven, Will, Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo) and Lucas Sinclair (Caleb McLaughlin) want to kill Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower). Winona Ryder and David Harbour will also be re-joining the crew.
