The Bachelor alum Zilda Williams has revealed that she is in a relationship with another woman in a sweet Instagram post.
The TV personality, who appeared on the Australian version of The Bachelor back in 2015, shared her life update in an Instagram Reel on 8 December, revealing that she met her partner, personal trainer Jordy Brooking, in a gym.
“Never saw this love story coming, but I’m soooo glad it did,” she wrote in the Reel’s caption, adding: “It’s very important to trust your heart — you never know where it might lead.”
The Reel features a series of short clips of Williams and Brooking together on holiday, playing pool, kissing and cheersing drinks.
“In your 40s you will have your first crush on a woman at your gym… it’s very important you take a chance and fall madly in love with her!!” reads text overlaid on the video, which is soundtracked to a viral musical mash-up of Billy Joel’s “Piano Man” and Fleetwood Mac’s “Silver Springs”.
In the comment section, Williams’ friends and fans celebrated her newfound love, with one writing that the video gave them “goosebumps”.
“Ohhh babe!!! This makes me so happy,” a second wrote. “You can just see the stunning aura around you both… couldn’t be happier for you.”
“You deserve all the happiness!!! So very happy for you!! What a fabulous way to start the new year,” commented another.
A third remarked on the Real radiating “so much love,” and celebrated how “beautiful” it was that the couple had found each other.
Williams, a former model and current business development manager, appeared as a contestant on the third season of Australia’s The Bachelor, hoping to pique the romantic interest of businessman Sam Wood. However, she was eliminated in the show’s first episode.
